Intended use
The “FMC 10 (50m)”, “FMC 10 (100m)”, and “FMC 10 (200m)” series microwave barriers are designed to protect perimeter sectors of various sites and generate an alarm signal when an intruder crosses the detection zone.
General information
The detector is a bistatic microwave barrier consisting of a transmitter and a receiver.
The principle of operation involves creating an electromagnetic field between the transmitter and receiver. This field forms a spatial detection zone in the shape of a rotational prolate ellipsoid and registers changes in this field when an intruder passes through the zone.
Set includes
-
Receiver and transmitter
-
Installation kit: 2 brackets, 4 mounting rings
-
Tool and accessory kit (screwdriver, 8×10 wrench)
-
User Manual
Additional features and benefits
-
A multi-threshold operating algorithm ensures high immunity to outdoor interference.
-
4 independent channels prevent mutual influence between adjacent zones.
-
Configuration without tools (built-in switches).
-
Using software with Windows or Android devices allows for:
-
Visualization and analysis of interference and environmental impacts (vegetation, animals, vehicles, etc.)
-
Display of the operating signal (mV) for more precise alignment of the transmitter and receiver
-
Flexible sensitivity adjustment according to the existing protection zone
-
Setting the intruder’s movement speed in the detection zone
-
-
The detector is resistant to strong electromagnetic fields (power lines up to 500 kV).
-
Possible to detect a crawling intruder in a specially prepared sterile zone with correct sensitivity settings.
-
NEW digital microwave module production technology.
Operating frequency
10.525 ± 0.025 GHz
Technical Specifications
Detection zone length:
-
FMC 10 (50 m) – 5 m to 50 m
-
FMC 10 (100 m) – 10 m to 100 m
-
FMC 10 (200 m) – 10 m to 200 m
The detector generates an alarm if:
-
a person crosses the detection zone at a speed of 0.3–10 m/s;
-
the supply voltage drops below the norm;
-
an attempt is made to shield the receiving device;
-
an attempt is made to dismantle the device;
-
device units are malfunctioning.
The device does not trigger false alarms under the following conditions:
-
rain, snow, thick fog;
-
solar radiation;
-
wind speed up to 30 m/s;
-
objects with a linear size up to 0.2 m (birds or small animals);
-
ground irregularities up to ±0.3 m;
-
snow up to 0.5 m (without additional configuration);
-
grass up to 0.3 m;
-
VHF radiation in the 150–175 MHz frequency range with power up to 40 W at a maximum distance of 6 m.
