Description

FORTEZA sensitive element (SE-86)

The Sensitive element (SE-86), attached to the fence, is designed to generate electrical signals in the event of mechanical impact or vibration on the fence. The sensitive element is a specialized cable manufactured according to FORTEZA technical requirements.

Purpose

The sensitive element is part of the TRIBO-S fence protection system, which registers deformation and vibration of the protected fence section at the location where the sensitive element is installed.
The fence section is connected to the TRIBO-S controller either directly or via a non-sensitive cable (NON-SE).
The system is designed to protect all types of fences against intrusion by climbing over or breaking through the fence.

Recommended installation method

Applications: barbed wire, concertina wire, mesh fences, wood, brick, reinforced concrete and steel fences, metal grilles, roofs of buildings and hangars, gates, etc.

Special features

  • Triboelectric effect (high resistance to changing weather conditions and industrial interference);

  • Two detection parameters – deformation and vibration;

  • Easy to restore after damage using a connection sleeve;

  • Quick and easy installation; convenient and simple operation;

  • Excellent price-performance ratio compared to similar detectors;

  • Option to choose sensitive elements of different lengths.

Installation instructions for standard fences:

  • Proceed according to the project documentation;

  • Ensure that the ambient temperature is not lower than –5 °C;

  • When installing the sensitive element along the fence, maintain a bending radius of at least 120 mm;

  • Use plastic cable ties (140 × 3.5 mm), Nylon 6.6, V2 UL94 at the fastening points of metal mesh and grille-type fences;

  • Temperature range: –40 °C to +100 °C;

  • Distance between fastening points: 10–45 cm, depending on the fence type;

  • For metal bar and wooden fences, use galvanized wire (2.5 mm) or other suitable fasteners;

  • The installation method of the sensitive element depends on the type of fence.

For non-standard fences:

If the TRIBO-S system is used on non-standard fences, we recommend first checking how the system performs and detects intrusion on that specific fence type.
We offer equipment for testing, customer demonstrations, and trade fair displays at a special discount (significantly lower than the retail price).

For testing:

  • Prepare approximately 10 meters of sensitive element and install it in the chosen manner on one or two fence segments.

  1. Connect it to the TRIBO-S device and configure the sensitivity.

  2. Test the TRIBO-S sensitivity.

  3. Test noise immunity (wind, vibration, impacts).

  4. If TRIBO-S detects an intruder but does not trigger alarms due to noise, this installation method can be used for the entire fence. Sensitivity remains uniform throughout the length.

Technical Specifications

  • Maximum length of the sensitive element (FORTEZA sensitive element SE-86) up to 300 m in one zone

  • Operating temperature: –40 °C to +50 °C
