At the end of last year, Unisend relocated its sorting centre in Estonia to a larger facility to handle growing parcel volumes and provide faster, more efficient service for customers. In cooperation with MAV Tehnik, we contributed to the security infrastructure of the new centre by supplying a modern GeoVision video surveillance system manufactured in Taiwan.

Unisend is a Lithuanian parcel delivery company with more than ten years of experience. Its network includes nearly 1,500 parcel lockers across the Baltic States. The company entered the Estonian market in the spring of 2024, offering affordable parcel delivery services for both private and business customers.

The new sorting centre provides better working conditions for the team, allows more efficient processing of shipments, and speeds up deliveries so that parcels reach recipients safely and on time.

The installed GeoVision video surveillance system supports daily operations through smart video analytics (motion analysis, zone-based monitoring, event-based alerts), ONVIF compatibility, efficient recording management, data protection features, and long-term product support with software updates.

The solution makes it possible to monitor parcel movement, prevent losses and errors, identify bottlenecks in workflows, and improve the safety of both employees and property. Recorded footage can also be easily reviewed and analysed when needed.

All equipment installed in the sorting centre complies with NDAA requirements and, thanks to its reliability and scalability, is well suited for large logistics facilities.

The modern surveillance solution provides a strong foundation for Unisend’s further growth in Estonia and supports the company’s goal of delivering fast, accessible, and secure parcel services across the country.
