The product is designed to connect FMC 24 Pro and TRIBO-S systems to a centralized security system via an RS-485 interface
General description
The device scans addressable detectors via the RS-485 interface and transmits their status information to separate “open collector” type outputs, which can be connected to the signal circuits of alarm control panels.
The product allows controlling the operation of seven devices with two independent RS-485 lines, each up to 1200 m long (using Category 5 UTP/FTP cable).
The maximum length of the lines can be increased by using RS-485 repeaters.
Operating principle
The operation of the device is based on scanning the status of addressable detectors via two independent RS-485 lines and transmitting notifications by opening the corresponding output circuit if:

a detector enters alarm state or

a fault occurs on the device.
